Oxacells CAL (cell-assisted lipotransfer) is a versatile product. For the production, stem cells are obtained from endogenous adipose tissue and then mixed with a small portion of the fat (lipofilling) for injection (enriched lipotransfer). The result is a stem cell-based product that improves the skin and subcutaneous tissue structure.
This enrichment process results in drastically improved characteristic of CAL when compared to the conventional fat cell transplantation: The subcutaneous fatty tissue is rebuild sustainably, scarred tissue and wrinkles are smoothened. CAL is a natural alternative to silicone implants for breast augmentation. Likewise, breast reconstruction after amputation or partial amputation can be achieved naturally without scars. Furthermore, CAL is particular suitable for treating damage of skin and subcutaneous adipose tissue after burns or radiation.
